ABOUT
We live in a traumatized world with many factors impacting our mental health and well-being negatively. Everything from war, conflicts, racial violence, displacement, loss, grief, family and relationship issues, life transitions, all test our strength and ability to cope with the demands of everyday life. We all need support, human connection, kindness and compassion to get through these difficult times. It can be difficult to reach out for help and embark on an unknown path to a healing journey. It takes courage and commitment to engage in therapy but it can also be extremely rewarding when you get the appropriate support.

I believe the most important aspect of therapy is developing an environment of safety and a trusting relationship based on empathy and compassion between the therapist and client. The first step in the relationship is getting to know each other and an intake assessment to identify your goals for therapy.

I am trained in various therapeutic modalities and I provide client-centred, integrative, holistic services tailored to your specific needs and goals. My approach is grounded in my own lived experiences as a first generation immigrant woman from Iran, and my deep commitment to equity, social justice and anti-oppressive practice.

As your therapist, I will be there to listen, understand, provide compassionate support, and hold space for you to explore possibilities for change. I draw on my personal and professional knowledge and experiences to build a safe, supportive, and collaborative space that f
acilitates your healing and growth.
