ABOUT
Although grief and loss are universal experiences it is common to encounter narrow ideas of how grief should be experienced and expressed.
This can be the case for both death and non-death-types of loss. Rather than conventional ideas about “moving on” or “letting go” there can be ways to live with and learn from loss. As a social worker and psychotherapist I use an approach called narrative therapy to help people identify, understand, and reduce the influence of problems related to loss and create openings for new possibilities and preferences. I offer evening virtual and phone sessions; please browse my website to learn more. |
