I am an accomplished therapist with extensive experience in the field of mental health. I am a Child and Youth Counsellor and a Registered Psychotherapist with CRPO, demonstrating my commitment to ongoing professional development. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders and other mental health issues. In my practice I utilize a variety of modalities when working with clients, including ACT, EFT, EFFT, CBT, DBT and harm reduction to tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs.
With over 20 years of experience working with eating disorders, I have a deep understanding of the complexities of these conditions. I had spent over a decade working at the Hospital for Sick Children as a Child Youth Counsellor and Milieu Therapist, where I honed my skills in working with clients with a range of mental health issues. More recently, I worked at Sheena's Place for eight years as a group facilitator, focusing on eating disorders.
In addition to eating disorders, I also work with clients struggling with anxiety, interpersonal issues, life transitions and addictions. My approach is client centered and trauma informed and meeting clients where they are at, to provide them with the tools needed to empower them during their journey to recovery. I am a compassionate and highly skilled therapist with a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of mental health and I’m dedicated to helping my clients through the process of their recovery.
