MODALITIES OFFERED:  I have expertise in a range of therapeutic modalities and systems of change including specialist training in trauma focused interventions, including EMDR, grief and loss, anxiety disorders, attachment, compassion-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), sensorimotor psychotherapy, narrative therapy and mindfulness. My approach is person-centred, trauma-informed and grounded in anti-oppression and anti-racism principles.

ABOUT

I'm a trauma specialist who also has specialist certifications in working with grief and anxiety.

I don't see my role as "fixing" my clients; instead, we'll work together to discover what you need to find healing, balance and more joy in your life. I've worked in many different settings, including in a primary care outpatient psychology service, community agencies and in university counselling services. In addition to my graduate training in counselling & psychotherapy, I have a master's degree in Equity & Diversity studies and I'm committed to equitable, anti-racism and anti-oppression practices.

​I keep up-to-date with cutting-edge neuroscientific research that informs our understanding of the brain-body connection and healing. In addition to being a psychotherapist, I provide clinical supervision to other therapists and facilitate safeTALK suicide prevention workshops for groups (ages 15+).
