RP (Qualifying) psychotherapists are registrants of CRPO. They have completed or are nearing completion of their psychotherapy training. They are legally authorized to perform the controlled act of psychotherapy and are required to practise with clinical supervision as they gain experience in the profession.

CLIENTS: individuals, adults and late adolescents (i.e. aged 16 and up)
AREAS OF PRACTICE: LGBTQ+ (most clients are transgender), autism, ADHD, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, racial and cultural identity (I'm Chinese)
TREATMENT MODELS:  compassion-focused therapy, CBT, DBT, EFT, narrative, feminist, attachment theory/ psychodynamic, Rogerian, solution-focused, strength-based, acceptance and commitment therapy, dream analysis. 
FEE: $160
SLIDING SCALE: $90 to $150

Do you want to find a way out of the stress, fear, and sadness that you’re going through? Find some peace and comfort? Maybe you feel overwhelmed and hopeless. It can be tiring and scary, an uphill battle, and you feel like you will collapse and shatter at any time. When you face all this sadness, despair, frustration, and fatigue, you wish you could confide in a trusted person and get some support. I can be that support person for you, so that you can make sense of your world, find peace, and reclaim control. You don’t have to feel so helpless anymore.

I’ll help you grow more adept at handling stress, as well as with overwhelming emotions like grief, fear, and guilt. We can find order, meaning, and strength for you again. I’m also a gay, trans, nonbinary person (he/him) who is an ethnic minority, and I can give support in LGBTQ+ issues and cultural identity matters as well.
