ABOUT
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience, having practiced both in Canada and the United States. As a clinician, I’m experienced, open-minded, and down-to-earth, always striving to make my clients feel comfortable. In terms of my style and personality, I tend to be fairly direct and also like to use humour in sessions when appropriate. As far as psychotherapeutic theories and techniques, I draw heavily from attachment-based, existential, psychodynamic and trauma-informed traditions, and will happily integrate cognitive behavioural and dialectical behaviour skill-building and other approaches when useful.

I currently focus on providing therapeutic services for three groups:
  • counselling and psychotherapy for college & university students
  • psychotherapy for writers & creatives
  • psychotherapy for adults (18+)

Below are just a few of the areas we can explore; please see my website to learn more:
  • overcoming feeling “stuck” in life or changing destructive habits;
  • recovery from intrusive thoughts and repetitive behaviours;
  • breaking free of unhealthy relationship patterns;
  • questions regarding identity, vocation, creativity, and meaning;
  • adult survivors of dysfunctional family relationships;
  • managing anxiety and uncertainty;
  • coping with grief and loss, and more…

In order to better meet the diverse needs of my clients, I offer three formats for sessions, which can include:
  • virtual services available no matter where you are located in Ontario
  • hybrid virtual with occasional office-based services located in Downtown Toronto, close to the TTC
  • seasonal “walk and talk” services in Midtown Toronto, close to the TTC

  • Because I want to ensure a good fit, I always conduct free initial 20 minute consultations with potential clients. Additionally, a number of reduced fee spots are available for those who need them; please don’t hesitate to ask about this. If interested, feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule your free consultation.
