ABOUT
You may have learned to carry a lot on your own.
Perhaps needing other people became complicated somewhere along the way. You learned to keep the peace, anticipate others’ needs, stay fiercely independent, or think your way through feelings that once felt too difficult to experience. Maybe you long for closeness while pulling away from it, take care of everyone while struggling to let yourself be cared for, or understand your patterns intellectually but still feel stuck inside them.

I believe that when our deepest wounds happen in relationship, healing also needs to happen in relationship. Insight and coping skills can help, but sometimes knowing why we do something is not enough. Therapy can offer the repeated experience of being met differently, with curiosity rather than judgment, with room for needs, emotions, and parts of yourself that may have felt too much or unsafe elsewhere.

My approach is deeply relational and intersubjective, integrating psychodynamic, experiential, attachment-
based, and somatic therapies. I have also completed Level 1 training in AEDP. Together, we may slow down
around meaningful moments, notice what is happening emotionally or in the body, and become curious about the patterns and protections that once helped you survive.

I work with adults navigating childhood and relational trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, identity transitions, women’s mental health, and the ways intellectualizing, overthinking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, emotional avoidance, and difficulty accessing or expressing feelings can shape their lives. I also support clients exploring immigration and bicultural identity, interracial or intercultural relationships, and the wider cultural and systemic contexts that shape how we learn to belong, cope, and understand ourselves.

I see therapy as a space for understanding, reclamation, and new ways of relating—to yourself, to others, and to the life you want to build.
