ABOUT
Therapy for Children & Youth
Children don’t always have the words to explain what they are feeling or experiencing. I offer a playful, relational and child-led approach, using art, imaginative play, storytelling, music, movement and conversation in ways that follow each child’s interests, strengths and natural ways of communicating.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than two decades creating and performing music and theatre for children and families, including working as a therapeutic clown at SickKids. This experience continues to shape how I use play, imagination, humour and attunement to build connection with children.

My clinical work has also included supporting children and families through Armagh House and Child Development Institute. I often work with children experiencing anxiety and fears, big feelings and overwhelm, ADHD and neurodivergence, sensory and emotional sensitivity, friendship or self-esteem challenges, family separation and other transitions, grief, and difficult or traumatic experiences.

When I work with a child, I also collaborate with parents and caregivers while making sure therapy remains a space where the child can build trust, explore at their own pace and engage in ways that feel natural to them.

Therapy for Parents & Caregivers
I also work therapeutically with parents and caregivers navigating the emotional demands of family life, including parenting stress, family transitions, relationship challenges, overwhelm, and questions about how to support a child while also staying connected to their own needs and sense of self.

This work may include exploring patterns that emerge in family relationships, making space for difficult or conflicting feelings, and finding ways of responding that feel more intentional and sustainable.

Creative Psychotherapy for Adults
I also work with adults who are drawn to a collaborative, relational and creative approach to therapy. We may work entirely through conversation or bring in image, writing, art-making, movement, music or attention to what is happening in the body, depending on what feels useful and meaningful to you.
