ABOUT
Hi! I’m Jocelyn.

I offer individual, couples, and family counselling services for clients aged 16 and up, and I am fluent in both English and Mandarin.

With over 18 years of experience in clinical settings, I specialize in the following areas:

  • Mental Health Issues (including but not limited to Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Anger, Addiction, Grief, Shame, Self-Esteem, Burn-Out, Stress, and Identity)
  • Attachment, Relationships, Conflicts and Communications (family relationships, intimate partner relationships, social interpersonal relationships etc.)
  • Trauma and PTSD (childhood trauma and significant life events)
  • Parenting and Caregiving stress and challenges
  • Fertility, Prenatal and Postpartum mood related issues
I have supported many clients in navigating stress that arises from the unique challenges of managing different roles at various life stages. I practice within the Anti-Oppression, Anti-Racism Framework with a strength-based focus and through trauma-informed lens. Drawing from my own experience of social intersectionality, including being a first-generation immigrant myself, I provide client-centered and culturally sensitive services, working with clients from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds. I am also proud to be an 2SLGBTQIA+ ally.

Creating a safe, non-judgmental space for you to experience productive and meaningful healing is of utmost importance to me. I believe in the power of talk therapy and the strength within each person. Together, we will make progress at a gentle, supportive pace that suits your comfort, helping you reach your goals and regain calmness in life

I provide therapy by integrating multiple modalities, including Attachment-Based Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, and various models of Family Therapy.

Please free to reach out or book directly to schedule a free 15-minute consultation where we can discuss your goals and any questions you may have.
