ABOUT

I value a collaborative approach that centers your insight, skills and experience. My approach is a trauma informed and integrative one.  I draw from several modalities in my work (please see listed).  I know myself to be a clinician that is warm, compassionate, and forthright. I bring supportive curiosity and at times some gentle humour when appropriate as tools to support our work together.

I have worked for over 18 years in social work practice with a focus in mental health services.  For many years, I worked in community based settings and mental health crisis services.  For the past 8 years my work has been focused in providing individual therapy, working with young people and adults across diverse identities.  

I strive for a practice that is engaged with an intersectional anti-oppressive framework. Sex positivity & harm reduction principles are also important in my work.
