ABOUT
I’m a registered Clinical Psychological Associate with over a decade of experience helping adults navigate a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. I also work with couples who are looking to better understand their relationship patterns and improve communication and connection. I have particular experience supporting those in early adulthood, a time that often raises questions about identity, direction, and connection.
My approach is rooted in psychodynamic psychotherapy. I pay close attention to recurring patterns, attachment styles, emotional dynamics, and how past experiences shape current feelings and behaviour. Together, we work to make sense of what may feel confusing or overwhelming. This exploration can lead to meaningful, lasting change, not just at the surface, but at a deeper emotional level. With greater understanding often comes a sense of feeling more grounded, emotionally free, and able to build satisfying, authentic relationships with self and others. While my foundation is psychoanalytic, I also draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and mindfulness when helpful. I see therapy as a reflective and collaborative process that encourages self understanding and emotional growth. I offer in person sessions in Toronto and work with clients across Ontario virtually. I provide psychotherapy in both Turkish and English. |
