ABOUT
My name is Caro Ibrahim. I am a migrant of colour living on this land, Turtle Island. I honour the land and the peoples of the land where I live and call home. Cultivating an understanding of myself, the multiple intersections that hold me, developing selfawareness and recognizing historical and present systems of disadvantages and privileges inform my therapy container and the interventions I engage in as I journey with my clients.

Living Knowledge is what I learned and continue to learn through my own experiences in the many communities I belong to and the communities I am in good relations with.

I see the therapeutic journey as a commitment to reclaiming self-care, attending to old scars, healing fresh wounds, building healthy relationships, and recognizing self-worth and power. I will accompany you on that journey with genuine curiosity and no judgment. I will invite you to explore, recognize, cultivate, and realize, with care, what is life-giving for you. It’s a journey of mutual trust that we will build together.

What does one’s experience mean for the collective, and how does the collective experience impact generation after generation? What is systemic power and how does it impact one’s body, mind, and spirit? How does one’s belief system impact their mental health and day-to-day life? Those are themes I welcome and invite you to wrestle with along the therapeutic journey.
