ABOUT

Emily Beaton is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a master’s degree in counselling psychology from the University of Toronto. She supports individuals experiencing challenges related to disordered eating and body image concerns, eco-anxiety/climate anxiety, relationship issues, anxiety and depression, trauma, and major life changes (e.g., grief and loss). Emily’s approach to therapy is warm and compassionate, and centres on authentic connection. She uses several evidence-based modalities, including emotion-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, interpersonal therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy, tailoring each approach to best fit the client she is working with.
